Intimate Greenhouse Elopement | New Mexico

Winter in high desert New Mexico is not without it’s fair share of sublime beauty.  During these months we often miss the warmth and vibrancy of brighter days.  Inspired simply by that mid-winter desire for a saturated palette of ‘Green’ we landed on our location, Osuna Nursery, because of how amazing it feels to be in their greenhouse in the peak of winter.  We liked the idea of an oasis, or a highly saturated ‘alive’ space that would vibe with earthy, bohemian elements like an oversized rattan peacock chair, vintage grapevine root accent table, and organic wood/green elements provided by Rust Vintage Rentals.  We set up a makeshift changing area so our bride would not feel like she needed to leave the warmth and comfort of the space to change and we loved the intimacy this allowed our couple as he helped zip her into her Watters gown. The details of her jewelry and his neck ware were captured on a raw wood slice complimented by a rooted air plant. He wore a blue suit and tie designed by Magro Clothing. The abundant plant life surrounding the couple allowed them ample opportunity for many lovely, private moments together as Melissa of Renegade Floral and Amy of For The Love Events created their sweetheart table.  For the bouquet and centerpiece Melissa selected an abundance of greenery that perfectly suited the greenhouse palette (hello begonia!) complimented by antique roses, tulips, orchids, and tuber rose.  The wooden table from Rust was set with neutral organic earthenware, green vintage goblets, brass candlesticks and mod farmhouse chairs in a corresponding shade - all beautifully accented by potted euphorbia and citrus.

Thank you Rocky Mountain Bride for your help on this
