New Mexico Wedding Venue Guide
Looking for a location to get married is never easy. This guide will hopefully give you a head start when looking for a venue.
We cannot think of a better location than Los Poblanos. 25 acres of lavender fields, enormous cottonwood trees and lush formal gardens, Los Poblanos is one of the most stunning properties in the Southwest to host a special wedding celebration. Los Poblanos specializes in Weddings which makes it easy to be married there and everything always runs smoothly. They take care of a lot of the details and after shooting there many times, we can say that every wedding is unique based on the couples desires. They have many different spaces for ceremonies and we can say that regardless the size of your wedding guests, they can accommodate. We love shooting here, no matter the season.
El Rey Court is located in Santa Fe in a completely renovated motor lodge. El Rey went the extra mile and paid careful attention to detail around every corner. El Rey is the Southwest. We love shooting at this location as this venue has charm and character that you just don’t find elsewhere. Whether you get married in the courtyard or decide on a tent the grounds you can’t go wrong and they have plenty of locations for portraits. A quick drive to the desert is only a short drive away if you want to capture all of New Mexico in a day.
La Mesita is just north of Santa Fe and is set in the center of Pojaque Pueblo on 140 acres. La Mesita has a pool, horse stables, pond multiple locations for a ceremony and a 360 view of the mountains. The architecture is authentic southwest and perfect for large weddings yet can accommodate smaller parties as they have plenty of room to make your day special. We love how easy it is to capture so many different textures and backdrops in one place. They really make it easy to get married here and allow you to bring in all of your own people if that’s the route you want to take.
